I don't know if any of you have watched this program yet. It's on Showtime and Sacha Baron Cohen literally makes complete and total assholes out of very notable GOP politicians and others. But more than that, without much prompting he is somehow able to get these people to exhibit the most outlandish, disgusting and crazy behavior you've ever seen.
Cohen basically plays different characters. One is an Israeli soldier who "teaches" how to combat terrorism. Another character is a Finnish comedian (see above) who is interviewing Joe Arpaio, who was pardoned by Trump for criminal contempt of court. Arpaio had been convicted of racial profiling in detaining individuals suspected of being in the U.S. illegally. Racist pig.
Arpaio is basically a sadist who houses his inmates in tent city in Phoenix, AZ. If you have never been to Phoenix in the summer the temperature gets as high as 120 degrees. It is truly inhumane punishment. They are housed in facilities infested with cockroaches, fed worm infested food and made to wear pink underwear. (If you're interested, I read a fascinating book written by Sean Attwood about his stay in Arpaio's jail) it is very well written and an amazing read.
So last night Joe Arpaio was the guest.
And I caution you, while watching it I felt very uncomfortable, but when Arpaio actually agreed to give Trump a blow job (yes, you read that correctly) I couldn't help but yell out OHMYGOOOOOD!!!! I couldn't believe what I'd just heard.
The following is taken from Vulture ...
Arpaio later reported to Breitbart (who else) that he was contacted sometime last fall by two producers who wanted to feature him in a Showtime show about 20 of the most popular people in America. He agreed to participate, went to Los Angeles in October 2017, and was taken to a “warehouse-like facility” for the interview, which he was told would air live to 2 million people. Unlike Ted Koppel, Arpaio admitted to Breitbart that he “signed some kind of contract before filming, which I have done numerous times, did not read all the info.” Arpaio was particularly uncomfortable with Cohen’s character using words like “blow job” and “golden shower”:
Despite his anger in the Vulture piece, none of his supposed outrage was displayed in the "interview." He was more than willing to go along and never once displayed any hesitation about whether the interview was legitimate or not. I mean he literally argued with a toy donut about guns.
Do yourself a favor and go to You Tube. YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE IT.

Arpaio recalled Cohen using “highly inappropriate” phraseology that he says made him “very uncomfortable.”
“He came up with certain words which were hard for me to hear,” Arpaio said, including “blowjob” and “talking about people working for” a “hand job.”
So I started getting a little pissed,” he said. Cohen also mentioned “golden shower,” Arpaio stated. Arpaio’s typed notes to document some of those words [sic].
“I felt uncomfortable with some of the words they were using but I had to live through it. I am not the type of guy who gets up and walks out,” he said. “I never walked out in thousands of interviews. I just take it.”
“I was kind of shocked,” Arpaio continued. “But I figured this is Finland and this is a famous comedian.”

Joe Arpaio is an asshat who makes a fool of himself just by existing.
